07/09/2002. Sporting Lisbon defender Andre Cruz has revealed that he is to quit the club and fancies a return to Italy.

The Brazilian international played for Napoli, Milan and Torino in the nineties, and said: "I will not return to Portugal, where I have had some excellent years with Sporting Lisbon.

"I want to go to Italy if that's possible. I'd be interested in Spain as well, while I'd also consider England and Germany."

The 33-year-old is available on a free transfer.
